I was thinking.
Whoever wins Pick 3 lotto's or whatever it's called on here, is it possible if that whoever wins it, instead of just announncing it publically but also send a message into the person's inbox as well to inform them that they won it?
I don't normally purchase these tickets but most of the time, I'm not on here when it's announced and because of the timezone.
Anyone agree? or disagree? feel free to write below.
i think it would be cool that if you're not logged in when it's drawn, next time you log in it displays who won.
maybe it's just me.. but i'd like to know that it's being played and people are winning it
Trouble with that suggestion is that lately email announcements have not been working. It's already been discussed here on the boards that those of us who have requested email notification when someone leaves us a private message when we are not logged in or an email notification when a topic we have started has been replied to are not getting those email notifications. So until they fix that problem, email notification of the numbers drawing will not work.
i didon't mean email notification, i meant when you log in to the site.. below where it says you have however many private messages, it says congratulations to such and such, for winning how ever many points
i must have missed the topic that talks about the email notifications being broken. come to think of it i've not got my person watch in a while.. either like you said it's broken, or those people havon't been logging on
I agree with you Dan. Whenever people Log in, they get notices saying they've earned 1000 points for logging in, then if possible should put "Winner of today's Pick3 is..."
Strange. I've been getting Email notifications just fine over here. As for the suggestion, I think it's a good idea, but if there still is problems with the Email messages not getting sent to some people, I do agree that should be fixed first.
You can set your Notifications on here, maybe you haven't set it? perhaps try checking it out on your Account page.
All the people who have been having trouble with this have posted on other boards that they've set their notification settings accordingly.
Right then. I really don't have any problems with these notifications stuff, they just fill up my Inbox so I turned it off.It's easy, I guess it's none of my concern anyway..
